Fish Tank Fish difficult in
I wanted to talk a bit about fish that might be tempting in the store, but probably should be avoided by beginning the aquarists. All these fish have their good points too, or fish stores are not spread throughout, but it's better to have a little more experience before adding these, or creating a new tank for them.
If I start with goldfish, you will say "What? Goldfish is difficult?" Since when? " Well, it certainly can be if you try to put in a tank with other tropical fish. First of all, goldfish like colder water than other freshwater fish tropical, and trying to commit to a temperature will cause the two sets of fish unhappy. Second, goldfish are dirty – they Adding too much ammonia and other wastes into the water to the configuration of a biological filter to handle delicate and will require a LOT more to make a deposit control and maintenance, if do not wish a disaster on your hands. In short, make your own tank and is good to go.
Mollies are engaged, and very social, but they tend to do While in the water is slightly brackish (ie, salty) than other tropical fish like. Like goldfish, they will be happier in a tank that is created specifically for your needs. The creation of a brackish water tank is a very interesting process for the dedicated fan, but again not the best first stop for the beginner.
An album is a beautiful fish, but can be very expensive, which means that any rookie mistakes you make in the care of water, maintenance, and overcrowding will be very costly for you too. I'd recommend the angel instead of low cost, which are similar in shape and slightly stronger.
Birchirs are fun, but remember they will eat smaller fish that anyone can recover. Unfortunately, a birch can grow very quickly, and fish that were not "small" when presented may soon find themselves in danger. These guys are also famous for jumping out of the tank.
The Plecostomus is a bottom feeder kind and strong, but also growing rapidly, and most exceed the standard 40 – or 55-gallon long before it is ready for a larger image. Similarly, Hatchet Bala sharks and fish can grow to 10-12 cm long before you know it. With a bit of fish is important for know the maximum size will grow, and growth rate, before establishing their cash.
Like everything else about the aquariums, the key to the choice of fish is to make all investigations before they can add anything new.
