Fish For Small Aquariums

What kind of fish can I put in my freshwater aquarium

The freshwater aquariums can house both Tropical Fish and coldwater fish, depending of their choice with each group of fish that have different requirements. Tropical fish is Tetras, Barbs, danios, Rasboras, live carriers, Anabantoids and fish inhabit the Loaches and bottom as Corydoras.

Consist of the popular Tetras Neon Tetra and Cardinal Tetra and some unknown fish like ghost Tetra, Diamond Tetra, Congo Tetra and Bleeding Heart Tetra. Splashing Tetras include Tetra, Rummy Nose Tetra and Tetra Lemon. Tetras are shoaling fish and should be kept in groups of five or more since they're more insurance in large groups. Zebra Danios as danios and Pearl danios also shoaling fish and are best seen on the banks of five or more.

The common Plecostomos grows up to 16 inches and are ideal for small fish aquariums. The bottom-dwelling fish can not eat fish poop because commonly believed and therefore, regular changes of water filtration is necessary even if you keep these fish.

which is smaller algae eating fish good for small aquarium?

not have a tank yet, but I am thinking of buying a small tank may soon be a 10 gallon ..

Otos are smaller, but very Senstive to water conditions and difficult to feed. Means they do best in large tanks, 20gal +. Some people may keep 10gal, but they need good care. For smaller tanks get shrimp or a snail, or manual cleaning. Ian
