What kind of fish for 4 gallon tank?
Im getting four gallons a tank and was wondering what kind of fish you should get and how many would be appropriate for that size. The aquarium is the new Baby biOrb 4 gallon. It will be a freshwater tank, and I am a beginner to use fish good for beginners. So 6.8 neon tetras would be too much for a 4 gallon tank?
With a 4 gallon tank options are very limited. The form easiest and most obvious is a single betta. You can add a snail from a friend. Also could fit 3 or 4 guppies, but be sure to get all one sex (otherwise 4 guppies guppies do not stay long 4.) If you want to go with the frogs, 4 gallons is enough for a few of those, and very neat future. You can bring a couple of dwarfs membranes gallon of 4 also, but not for beginners fish. Goldfish get much bigger than what you see in the fishstore and produce large quantities to waste what little water so they are definitely a no. 3 or 4 small tropical plants as neon or Rasboras fit but they are schooling fish and are much happier in groups of 6 or more, and definitely no room for so many.
