No need to worry about buying a tow rope or a stuffed friend to our fish.
An aquarium is less of a commitment that large animals company, and can still be a welcome addition to the family home. Aquariums are great learning tools for young children. Kids get excited if they are involved in the process. They can learn responsibility by having to help with tasks related to caring for the aquarium. In these times of having more than five hundred cable channels and excessive video games, an aquarium can be a refreshing touch to a home. The next time you sit for a family meal, try looking at the aquarium instead of television. You never know, can begin only a real conversation.
What type of home should have is my African Dwarf Frog?
At this point, I have my African Dwarf Frog in a container that is about two gallons (I think it is probably for the tarantulas and scorpions). Since it is very cold in our house, we will heat with a desk lamp, which makes algae that important. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good, SMALL, aquarium (2-5 gallons) that you can put a heater in? Or is there something I can add the water so it does not get all nasty like that?
go buy a 10 gallon aquarium at Walmart. you can get for like $ 10. then buy a heater and a filter. And probly could buy some more frogs and some fish to go with him.
