Betta Fish farming – Do You Know What To Do?
With their flowing fins, personalities, and beautiful colors, it is difficult to see how farming betta fish has become so popular. To accomplish this, it really is not that difficult, provided you have proper guidance. Unfortunately, there are a lot of information no sound out there and it is easy confused. As someone who has successfully bred Betta fish for over a year, and even created a small business from her home, This article should provide some tips that will point you in the right direction when breeding betta fish.
As the owner of a Betta, you're in luck, because it is easy to tell the sexes apart, the men generally larger, more flowing fins. While women usually shorter, less elaborate fins. By selecting one of each, he wants to ensure that both the fish are healthy. Their colors should be vibrant, and each must be active. Once your fish, has become one of the most important step of all: the preparation. This stage is important because it is often overlooked.
To give your betta fish the best chance of a successful courtship, you want to be in good condition. In the two weeks prior to mating, you will want to buy live food to feed two fish. While still taking care not to over-eating, I love them lots of extra food during this time. Do not forget, Betta fish are not very good at monitor their own sleep patterns. For this reason it is important the lights go out early and give your fish lots of rest prior to the couple.
Also at this stage you want to be the creation of your tank. First, this should mean a thorough cleaning with hot water. Be sure to clean the rocks, plants, and many other accessories you may have added. You do not want to use soap because even trace amounts of waste can be very harmful.
So what else? Another tip, although not required, is to cut a plastic cup in half and place it on the water surface. This So, you have created a small floating house type structure your male Betta is likely to feel safe to create his bubble nest under. Last but certainly not least, make sure that when breeding Betta fish are men and women are gradually introduced. Use a split, or from side to side, the installation tank for a few days before mating. This helps ensure a positive experience when fish are in the same tank.

Packing tape is toxic to your fish tank?
I have a Betta fish tank twice, but the divisor is clear for the two Betta fish are constantly reaching out to others and very stressed. I put white paper on one side of the line and covered with clear packing tape. Will be packing tape toxic to put in the fishbowl? Do you have other suggestions so that the two fish can not see each other?
Man, I hope not. I left my tape in the tanks a number of times. Seriously, however, there is nothing toxic in the tape, as I know, but stickum on the tape is not waterproof. If you use the tape in an application wet or under water, to come loose and the whole project will fall apart. I would say you need something opaque between bettas, so not constantly depleting the burning of one another. Betta breeders often put a blanket between each betta jar. Can you cut a piece of black (or opaque plastic of any color) to replace the splitter that came with the tank? Here's another idea (but do not make it work WARANTEE): Remove the divider and use fine sandpaper to scratch both sides of the line until they are no longer transparent. Then replace the divider in the tank.
