Question about upgrading my Tropical Fish tank?

I'm thinking of upgrading to a Fluval Roma 200 aquarium. My question is about the cabinet the aquarium. I currently have a gem of 125 cabinet (designed for 125L tank). Would I be able to use the case to the new tank (though it might go a little over the edge) or have to buy a new cabinet also to support the extra weight. It seems a very sturdy cabinet, but would not caving in to the new tank lol Thanks in advance

If it is a little over the edge, then No, not recommended, (not that you can not) The whole tank bottom should fit within the base. The tank is approximately 450 pounds of water in it. Let's say 500 pounds with the tank. If an area is at the base, the weight is more concentrated in the area. That's more pressure to the other side of the base, and you may not "want in the long run.
